Autumn Members Event
Galway Convention Bureau recently welcomed members to its Autumn Member Event at The Hawthorn by Galway Bay, offering an opportunity for industry partners to connect, network and hear updates from across Galway's thriving business events sector.
Members were warmly welcomed by Eveanna Ryan, Director of Sales at The Hawthorn, who shared insights into the venue's exciting development and its growing role within Galway's hospitality and business events landscape. With stunning views overlooking Galway Bay, The Hawthorn showcased its unique offering as a destination for meetings, events and corporate gatherings.
A special guest speaker on the day was Stuart Thornton, President of SITE Ireland, who provided valuable insights into the incentive travel sector and the important role destinations like Galway play in attracting international meetings and incentive programmes. Stuart also shared updates on upcoming industry opportunities and trends shaping the global business events landscape.
Attendees also heard from Max Reid of Dexcom Stadium, who provided an update on developments at the venue and highlighted the opportunities it presents for conferences, events and large-scale gatherings in Galway.
